Locations include:

Homespun Kitchen – a pleasant world of organic ingredients, freshly crafted foods straight from a scratch kitchen, a variety of vegan and vegetarian options, and the kindest staff you’ll ever meet.

Homespun Kitchen is a mom and pop owned restaurant founded by Aaron Levine who’s had long time aspirations to establish a healthy fast food restaurant. With years of industry experience, Levine has meticulously studied menus from all over the globe.

From years of hanging on to this goal of creating the restaurant of his dreams, Homespun Kitchen was born!

Speaking for the Jacksonville community, Homespun Kitchen is another addition to what makes Jacksonville – Jacksonville; people with dreams and those dreams coming to life all while showing love to the local community.

Sitting currently at two locations – Homespun kitchen first opened at Atlantic Beach following their second location in Five Points close by Downtown Jacksonville.

Let’s explore their menu options

Toast

Lily Avocado Toast with chicken add-on at Homespun Kitchen

The Homespun Kitchen menu consists of tasty avocado toasts with a thick but soft slice of toast. The toast is purchased by the slice. The bread is made in-house and is GMO-free.

You can choose either the Lily, Marley, and Rocket which comes with different toppings.

If you want to be fancy, feel free to implement add-ons onto your toast like we did with the chicken breast.

But for a reasonable price – this avocado toast doesn’t need to work hard to impress and you quickly learn that the secret recipe to all their foods here is the love put into it.

All Day Breakfast Wraps

Homespun Kitchen also sells breakfast wraps; crafted with the utmost care and respect to the ingredients.

These wraps represent the spirit of the staff; a wrap that is not just a wrap – but art. These wraps give the kind staff a chance to shine and show what Homespun Kitchen is all about. It’s no secret that there is genuine service; in fact, it’s completely obvious that these employees want to be here to give you the best service they can.

There’s a couple of different wraps you can choose from and you get to choose from a list of add-ons which include avocado, chicken breast, turkey bacon, ham, and tempeh.

If you don’t know what tempeh is, it’s an Indonesian food that is made from soybeans crafted into a cake-like form.

Açaí Bowls

Açaí is easily one of the most popular treats in Brazil and is considered a healthy food in Brazilian culture.

Açaí can be eaten as a meal or as a dessert depending on the ingredients you add.

With Açaí gaining more popularity, it’s not the most common thing for an American restaurant to implement açaí onto their menu and once again, Homespun Kitchen did not fail to impress.

Homespun Kitchen consists of five açaí bowl options for you to choose from – Brazilian, SoCal, Harrison, Lani, and Super Goji.

Harrison is definitely the most popular bowl here, but as the Jacksonville June Bug – we like to jump straight to the culture and went with the Brazilian açaí bowl.

The Brazilian açaí bowl is served with granola, banana, and bee pollen. No, that wasn’t a typo – Homespun Kitchen serves their Brazilian açaí bowl with actual bee pollen.

Bee pollen studies show that there are numerous different health benefits1. Not only is this impressive, but not everyone can say they’ve tried bee pollen before!

Smoothies

Smoothies – the absolute voice of any self-proclaimed healthy restaurant.

Smoothies provide a healthier alternative to milkshakes or ice cream and are non-GMO here at the Homespun Kitchen.

With a variety of smoothie options, you can even build your own – just choose up to two fruits, choose one base, and you have the option to include an add-on.

The smoothies here radiate the word “legit” with their genuine flavor and sweetness with nothing artificial.

What else should you know about Homespun Kitchen?

They don’t only stop at adults here – Homespun Kitchen includes a kid’s menu using their healthy ingredients to create kid’s foods particularly crafted for their little taste buds all while feeding them healthy ingredients.

It’s also important to note that although there is no set event schedule – Homespun Kitchen also hosts occasional vendors markets giving smaller businesses an opportunity to connect with their city.
