As the Jacksonville June Bug we want to tackle every corner possible to eliminate any sort of obstacle getting in your way of going out and getting active. Sometimes, obstacles cannot be eliminated – but we can indeed adapt to them.
If you know anything about Florida, you know that the weather can be quite sporadic and easily can catch anyone off guard. One second it’s a warm sunny day, then before you know it – you’ll pop your head outside of your window and it will be a monsoon out of nowhere.
The Jacksonville June Bug wants to be your hub for fun activities around the community and although some of these activities require us to be outdoors, we would like to come to your rescue and share our suggestions for indoor activities.
Here’s 20 indoor things you can do in Jacksonville whether you need a break from the heat or if you simply need a plan B due to any crazy weather changes.
Bowling
There is no better first suggestion to be on this list than the most basic “rainy” weather activity. Great for groups big or small, rich and poor; bowling is for everyone to enjoy around Jax.
