Picnic and Hike At One of Jacksonville’s Nature Parks

Jacksonville has dozens of nature parks that are waiting to be explored by you.

With over 200 locations – Painting with a Twist is an excellent place to bring out your creativity. They host “Date Night” events which can be a blast for you and your partner.

Most date night events – you and your date will be painting what they refer to as a “complimentary painting” which is two different canvases that combine to make one large painting.

If your not that much of an artist – no need to worry! There’s always local artists present and ready to teach you the ropes to help you get the most out of your Painting with a Twist experience.

The studio does not provide you with alcoholic beverage.

If you’re planning on drinking, Painting with a Twist does require you to B.Y.O.B which stands for “bring your own beer” (or which ever alcohol you and your partner decide to bring). They can provide you with cups.

Alcohol policies do vary depending on which location – there are two in Jacksonville and they both allow any kind of legal adult beverage.

The Melting Pot

If you’re craving something a little pricier for you and your partner, check out The Melting Pot.

The Melting Pot is a very underrated franchise. It provides guests a unique and engaging dining experience.

This fancy restaurant allows you to cook your own food in a boiling pot of which ever broth you and your partner desire.

The main course includes meat, chicken, shrimp, salmon, and even lobster. Your waiter will explain the details and how long you’re supposed to cook your protein for.

Despite the experience involving a lot of engagement from the guest, the atmosphere here is quite noiseless; this gives you a chance to chat with your partner – and to embrace a much calmer and relaxed romantic connection.
