Bonjour Jax! Today we’d like to introduce you to one of our favorite cafés in Jacksonville, Florida – Le Petit Paris French Café.
With a total of four locations all located in Jacksonville, Le Petit Café is without any doubt; a gem to the city.
Although this café has a neat exterior design, the interior will surprise you even more.

This setup is inspired by the south of France offering a neat spot for a brunch with friends or a cute date.
Le Petit Paris Café offers salads, sandwiches, and even cheeseboards; with dishes that are far from anything basic you’ll find in Jacksonville.
And that’s what makes Jacksonville – Jacksonville; The Bold New City of the South!
It’s the diversity and the drive to capitalize on that diversity. This is what makes our city so great.
Le Petit Paris Café is punctual on the quality of their ingredients, yet maintain an affordable price for their food – giving everyone a chance to embark their taste buds on a journey through southern France.
There is also a board game wall filled with board games you can enjoy with friends.
You know you’ve found a hidden gem when you’re questioning the sophistication of a restaurant and you end up concluding that it’s “simple, yet complex”.
Let’s dive into their menu.
Salads
Salads at this café are exactly what we described – simple, yet complex; such simple ingredients used for the salads yet the combinations are complex.
Salad choices:
- La Palette
- Le Cesar
- Le George
- Le Flore
We went with the Le George Salad; which consists of bleu cheese, cucumber, wood-smoked bacon, apple, walnuts, and mixed greens. The highlight of this dish had to be the crispy bacon.

Cheeseboards
To get to the more complex side of the café, we want to discuss the cheeseboards because as basic as cheeseboards may sound; it still seems like a rarity within the restaurant industry.
Cheeseboards include:
- Le Normandy
- Le Provence
- Le Nicoise
- Chicken Salad Board
- Le Brie Fondant
Here at the Jacksonville June Bug, we love cheese and we’re obsessed with Brie cheese; such a rich and creamy delight which led us to the Le Brie Fondant board.

The Brie Fondant was easily the highlight of the eating experience with melted Brie cheese mixed with walnuts, cranberries, and honey; this dish was definitely a winner.
Sandwiches
If you step in to Le Petit Café looking to eat a sandwich and not sure which kind, you’re definitely in luck because at this little café there are 22 different sandwiches to pick from(with 10 featured french baguette sandwiches; making Le Petit Paris French Café a sandwich restaurant for anyone and everyone!

Sandwiches include:
- Le Germain
- Le Marais
- L’Atlantique
- Le Pompidou
- Le Belleville
- Le Parisien
- Le Montmartre
- Le Courchevel
- Le Vegetalien
- Le Monceau

With these sandwiches you’ll get the option to have the baguette either normal or toasted.
The Le Germain Sandwich was definitely a winner for the June Bug in our experience here. This sandwich came with mixed greens, fresh mozzarella, and prosciutto – an elegant combination.
Drinks
Something special about there menu is that there aren’t really any set cocktails. Cocktails are determined by the season (i.e. spring specials, winter specials, etc.)
We decided to go with the Coconut Peach Sangria

The Coconut Peach Sangria is made with a sparkling wine, peach syrup, and coconut shavings on top. Super tasty and well worth it.
We also ordered the Pistachio Latte; a sweet and simple latte with a neat taste!
